Jamshid Chalangi:
In tonight’s program we discuss with our guest, the Toronto based journalist Behrang Rahbari of Sharvand Daily, the religious and cultural activities of the Islamic republic regime in Canada.
We will also report on the latest news of childabuse in Iran’s schools and the continuation of human rights contraventions in Iran’s prisons, while two political prisoners, Ghassem Shole Sadee and Arash Keikhosravi have refused to appear at their court hearing in protest.
We will also report about the latest developments in France as workers have taken to the streets to protest against Macron’s government’s economic policies.
Behrang Rahbari:
The rulers of Iran have always looked after the interest of their own elite and children and have hardly been engaged in dealing with the many grievances of the majority of the Iranian people.
It is no wonder that they have led the country’s economy to the point of collapse, as they could not careless about it.
In the eyes of this regime the Iranian people are categorized into two sorts; those who support the regime and those who oppose it.
The regime has managed to distort all achievements of human civilization by introducing its own meanings for the arts, cinema, music and even democracy. It has literally mocked human civilization.
Toronto has been hosting thousands of Iranian immigrants over the last forty years and currently around 200,000 Iranians live in here.
They range from political refugees who have been the victim of the regime, as well as former senior bank officials who have fled Iran.
Some of those who claim to have got refugee status could be seen taking part in regime organized religious processions on the streets of Toronto.
