We begin tonight’s edition of A Window to the Fatherland with Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh reading one of his poems from the book of his collected works.

We continue the program with a short rebasic commoditiesprice of food and basiccommodities are increasing by the day in Iran.
A friend of mine has written a letter to me saying that a kilo of tomatoes is now costing him 8000 tomans, making it even impossible for a poor family to buythem to make simple omelette, which is the basic food for millions of families in Iran today who are unable to buy meat and poultry.
I remember when I was a pupil in Iran we could ride on a bus, go to cinema, buy a sandwich and coke and get back home with only 5 tomans in our pocket!!
We reported about the possible conspiracy of the regime in the Ahwaz terroristattack yesterday and since then some of our viewers have contacted us and said that they have no doubt that the regime has been involved in a plot to stage the attack and have now arrested more than 40 innocent Ahwazi people on phony charges while the Revolutionary Guard commanders know very well that they the whole thing has been staged by themselves.
Nargess Mohammad has now been released from Evin prison and has been welcomed outside the prison by the mother of Sattar Beheshti.
In the second part of the program we will play a vide clip of a documentary about the late Shah’s pilgrimage to Mecca as well as a short film about how the Iranian governments used to hold their cabinet meetings before the revolution.
When you compare those meetings with the ones under the Islamic republic regime you realizes how low the state of affairs in Iran have become where Rouhani acts as a mullah in a mosque reading religious sermons to his ministers, instead of asking them to report to the nation what good they have done in their undeserved jobs to serve the country.
The meeting between Emanuel Macron of France with Rouhani’s team at the UN has become a laughing matter as a photo of the meeting shows the French diplomats are talking seriously about Iran’s regional destructive activities, but Rouhani and Zarif are just listening and laughing!
The Europeans are still trying to set up their own channel of trade and money transfer with Iran and bypass the US sanctions, while the European companies continue to leave Iran’s markets every single day.
However, the US is watching over the European moves and will surely obstruct any illegal trade with Iran that tries to circumvent the sanctions.
