We begin tonight’s edition of A Window to the Fatherland with Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh reading one of his poems from the book of his collected works.
Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh:
I must say that the Islamic republic regime is the biggest liar in the world.
The daily Kayhan in Iran, which is the mouthpiece of Khamenei, used to print 1.5 million copies every single day before the revolution.
However, since it was handed over to the vile interrogator Hossein Shariatmadari to edit it, its print run has been reduced to a few thousand copies.
This favorite “editor” of Khamenei used to work for the regime’s intelligence ministry and was a torturer whose “specialty” was to beat up communists in prisons and force them to become “Muslims”.
Shariatmadri has always said that the views of Kayhan daily’s editorials are those of his master Ali Khamenei.
As such, one day former president Mohammad Khatami had asked Khamenei why does he allow Shariatmadri to speak on his behalf as all he does is ranting and insulting others in his paper.
Khamenei had replied that he looks upon Shariatmadri as a violent guard dog that keeps his opponents afraid him!!
And that is true, as Shariatmadri has repeatedly confessed that his greatest honour in his low life has been to chew the tealeaves that were left in ayatollah Khomeini’s cup!!
Now Shariatmadari and his sidekick Hassan Shayanfar have written an editorial and said that the recent election of Barham Saleh as the new president of Iraq “has strengthened Islamic republic’s position within Iraq’ political structure”.
Far from it, Saleh is a close friend of US and as such he was responsible for establishing the American University in Sulaymaniyah.
Unlike the those corrupt Shia politicians who are the puppets of the Iranian regime in Iraq, Saleh is a clean and honest Kurdish Iraqi who has remained independent of the regime’s attempts to buy him out.
In the second part of the program we look at a letter from one of the Basijis who had gathered in Azadi Stadium yesterday to listen to Khamenei’s diatribes against his domestic opponents, the US and regional powers.
The Basiji person has disclosed how they had been bussed to the stadium with the promise of keeping their uniforms, getting 200,000 toamns of cash and one week leave with salary for their staged show of support for the regime!!
The regime’s security forces have raided the family home of Ahmad Mansouri, one of the armed attackers involved in the Ahvaz tragedy, under the pretext that they have talked to me on my TV program.
This is an innocent family who has lost a son and is in mourning, regardless of any judgment about his act, and yet the regime is taking a revenge on his three young children.
And Khamenei keeps silent about such flagrant abuse of human rights while still claiming that Iran is the freest country in theworld!
Medicines are not among the US sanctions on Iran but their prices are skyrocketing.
If the Iranian people really want to know who has brought these sanctions on them the need look no further than at Abbas Abdi of the “reformists” and Masoumeh Ebtekar, Rouhani’s environment minister, who climbed up the US embassy in 1980.
And next month on the day of the anniversary ofthat disastrous action the devastating US oil and gas sanctions against Iran will come into effect!!
