We begin tonight’s edition of A Window to the Fatherland with Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh reading one of his poems from the book of his collected works.
Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh:
I am a fan of wrestling sport and was very sad about the tragic defeat of our wrestlers in Hungary due to lack of funds from the government.
And yet on the other hand we see two million Iranians have received two million dollars from the regime to go to Karbala and visit a destroyed tomb of Imam Hossein, which has been exhumed three times since his death and no one really knows if it is his real grave.
Khomeini himself had told his followers not to visit this grave while he was in Najaf exile. He did not believe in any of these pilgrimages, as he knew very well that they were just moneymaking business.
And while our wrestling champions are being humiliated by their defeat, former oil minster Rustam Ghassemi has stolen $2billion of the Iranian people’s money and has now been promoted to a new job by Khamenei.
In the second part of the program we willdiscuss Netanyahu’s trip to Oman and his talks with Sultan Qaboos, and why we think he has a good intention towards Iran, but spokesman for Iran’s Foreign Ministry, Bahram Ghassemi, has said that he has been naïve to meet with the Israeli Prime Minister. As though his master, Ali Khamenei has been very wise to destroy our country by shouting death to US and Israel for 40 years!
Today is also the birthday of Prince RezaPahlavi. I remember the day he was born in Iran. Everyone was happy that the kingdom now had its heir and the country will continue with its stability and progress, not knowing that an Islamic republic regime will emerge that would take away everything from our people.
I was reading a report today that says out of the $800 billion oil revenue of Iran during the eight years of Ahmadinejad’s time more than $430 billon of it has gone missing and neither the central bank nor the oil ministry have any record of it!
