We begin tonight’s edition of A Window to the Fatherland with Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh reading one of his poems from the book of his collected works.
Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh:
Today I met wit with my old and dear friend Dr.Mashalah Ajoudani. In our younger years we used to work with the journalistAbbas Pahlavan in Ferdowsi magazine.
We later ended up in exile together and now he runs the Library for Iranian Studies in west London.
He and his colleagues at the library are doing a great job by collecting thousands of books and historic documents about Iran and the place is a real Iranian cultural center.
And the regime in Iran thinks it has its own “cultural centers” by opening offices in different countries with the Iranian people’s money, where its stooges promote ignorance and receive $5000 each per month.
But in places like the Library of Iranian Studies Dr. Ajoudani and his colleagues promote Iranian nationalism and train people in respecting knowledge and humanity.
We saw yesterday how the regime tried to block the roads leading to the tomb of Cyrus the Great, as it badly fears Iranian nationalism sentiments expressed by the nation.
The regime has built a massive mausoleum for its founder Khomeini that only attracts his followers. They have also built the Jamkaran shrine during the Ahmadinejad’s time to symbolize the arrival of the missing Imam.
But the place is empty as Khamenei regards himself as the missing imam!!
The other mullah, Ahmad Khatami hates Iran and its history and culture and keeps praising the regime’s own flag, which carries a Sick’s symbol that is supposed to say Allah.
The ignorant mullah does not know that the real flag of Iran with the Sun and the Lion carries centuries of history of the Iranian people and has nothing to the with the monarchy.
Khamenei himself has publicly insulted this history and condemned the building of Persepolis, not knowing that by doing so he has committed a political and cultural suicide in the eyes of a nation that admires its own glorious past and still drives motivation from it to build a new country beyond the present regime.
