A Window to the Fatherland/Dr. Nourizadeh/October 25

We begin tonight’s edition of A Window to the Fatherland with Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh reading one of his poems from the book of his collected works.

Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh:

We continue tonight’s program with talking to our dear guest of every Thursday Dr. Mohsen Sazegara, who would share with us his expert views about the news and current affairs of Iran and theMiddle East region.

I am astonished that as a man who has been the secretary of National Security Council for 16 years and witnessed the serial killing of Iranian journalists and intellectuals, Rouhani has now said that the killing of Jamal Khashoogi is an “international tragedy”.

This is a laughable claim from a man who has seen how the regime that he serves has caused more “tragedies” on regular basis.

Dr. Mohsen Sazegara:

The Saudis have now admitted that this murder has happened in their consulate but as to who has ordered it and what consequences this will have, will soon berevealed.

All in all the intelligence organs of the Iranian regime has so far assassinated 300 of its opponents according to its own officials. Some of these murders have made news because of the prominence of the victims like Dr. Bakhtiar or theMykonos terror of the Kurdish leaders in Germany.

Now we have another prominent victim of the regime’s terror machine, which is Dr. Farshid Hackie who has been a human and children rights activist and a well-known dissident.

The pattern of killing is very well known and all indications are that the regime’s intelligence units have been behind it with links to the Revolutionary Guards and all in turn linked to Khamenei’s office.

I also had the sad news of Mr Hashem Khastar of the teachers union having been kept in the mental hospital of Ibn Sina in Mashad, while he has never had any need for mental health treatment.

To me the whole tactic of the regime against its opponents looks like what they used to do in the Soviets era in Russia.

Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh:

Mr. Putin and his intelligence organs are very experienced in these matters andmany of their enemies have died of sudden cancer.

Dr. Mohsen Sazegara:

When I was in prison in Iran and on hunger strike one night they took me out of the 209 Ward and put me in a room and the man who was interrogating me said to me that after the serial killing of the intellectuals some KGB agents had come to Iran and had told the regime that the way they had eliminated them was wrong and they should learn new methods of killing their enemies!
