We begin tonight’s edition of A Window to the Fatherland with Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh reading one of his poems from the book of his collected works.
Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh:
We begin tonight’s program with announcing the sad news of Alireza Rezaie’s passing away. Alireza was a prominent Iranian satirist writer and comedian and loved by many.
My immediate thought was how to break this sad news to his close friend Mohsen Khatami who had looked after him in Kurdistan ofIran when Alireza left the country to live in exile.
Some Iranians did not know that leaving Iran for exile might give them comfort in the beginning but later life become so hard and depressing.
In Paris Alireza Rezaie began his cultural and social works and used his satire to expose the hypocrisy of the mullahs of Iran.
We do not yet know the cause of his death. Some say he had a heart attack but we must not forget that the regime was also after him.
We offer our sincere condolences to his mother and the rest of his family.
Later we will look at how the grand children ofKhomeini have become the new princes and princesses of the ruling elite andtheir royal-type marriages have become the hot news on Instagram.
The regime has now spent 20 million dollar to buy a synagogue building in Los Angeles to turn it into an Islamic cultural center.
It ha spent another 20 million dollars to refurbish and turn it into an Islamic atmosphere and no one is asking how on earth they can transfer so much money into the US under the sanctions to set a center to promote their propaganda.
