We begin tonight’s edition of A Window to the Fatherland with Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh reading one of his poems from the book of his collected works.
Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh:
We continue the program with looking at the history of the Iranian murderous regime’s bloody purges of its opponents from the day of its inception till today, starting with the execution of the generals of the Shah’s army to the serial killing of Iranian intellectuals and opposition leaders in exile.
In the case of murdering the nationalist leader Dariush Forouhar the regime’s murderers had to kill his wife Parvaneh as well as she had accidentally entered the scene of her husband’s slaughter, so that there will be no witness to their crime.
In the Mykonos murder of Iranian Kurdish opposition leaders the regime’sexecutioners had been receiving large sums of money to carry out the murders.
In the second part of the program we will look at Brian Hook’s latest interview with the Arabic TV Channel Al Hadees.
The senior Trump administration official who is overseeing the implementation of sanctions on Iran says tough U.S. sanctions re-imposed on Iran earlier thismonth have been effective, with “almost entire compliance” from the international community.
“We have seen almost entire compliance with our sanctions regime,” Hook said. “And we don’t anticipate having to sanction any major companies, because we haven’t seen any evidence that these companies want to choose the Iranian market over the United States market.”
He has added that despite the Iranian regime’s claims, the sanctions do not cover medicines and humanitarian works.
And in the meantime workers across Iran are on strike and marching on the streets demanding and end to the rule of the despots in the country.
