A Window to the Fatherland/Dr. Nourizadeh/Nov 20

We begin tonight’s edition of A Window to the Fatherland with Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh reading one of his poems from the book of his collected works.

Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh:

We continue the program with the exiled at how theexiled Iranians still love their country and think about its future, especially at this very sensitive juncture in our history.

They share all the problems of their fellow Iranians at home and many of them spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to build schools and hospitals in the country, while the regime’s officials responsible for these services neglect them and are only amassing wealth for themselves.

Rouhani has been visiting the city of Khoi in northern Iran. This is an historic city that its people played a major role in the 1905 Constitution Revolution and has produced many prominent politicians for Iran.

The local officials had bused in hundreds of school children to welcome Rouhani to the city but his entourage faced an angry crowd that were protesting against the economic problems of the country.

This shows the regime has no support in any part of the country.

We will watch a video clip of how the Chinese officials have played the Imperial anthem of Iran at the end of a tekando completion in which the Iranian women’s team has won.

The British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt has been in Iran and has held talks with Javad Zarif about the EU’s support of the nuclear deal, SWIFT, the Yemen civil war and has warned the regime to stop using foreign national hostage as diplomatic ransoms.

At the end of the program we will update you on the latest news of the Middle East.
