A Window to the Fatherland/Dr. Nourizadeh/Nov 13

We begin tonight’s edition of A Window to the Fatherland with Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh reading one of his poems from the book of his collected works.

Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh:

We continue the program with reporting on the latest findings about the murder of Jamal Khashoogi as the Turkish president says he has provided the audiotapes of his killing to Western governments as well as the Saudis.

Later we will talk about the rap singer Amir Tataloo’s interview with Behzad Boloor of the BBC and his meeting with Ebrahim Raeesi, who ran for president but lost to Rouhani.

Tataloo has rightly said that he would always choose Ahmadinejad as he is just like him; a liar and hypocrite.

While Rouhani is a cleric, he does his best to appear as a secular politician, but Ahmadinejad is just a vile politician and he and people like Amir Tataloo are the symbols of the Islamic republic regime.

In the second part of the program we will look at the rivalries among the regime’s factions to elect a new mayor for Tehran as Pirooz Hanachi has now won the race.

He has now replaced Ghalibaf who had once claimed to be the new Reza Shah, but once the money started to roll in in Tehran’s municipality, he forgot his claims and engulfed himself with power and wealth.

Hanachi is not a corrupt person and has risen from the ranks of a civil servant to his new post but soon he will have to face the many corrupt officials that Ghalibaf has left behind in his former office, with links to the regime’s top officials.
