A Window to the Fatherland/Dr. Nourizadeh/May 29, 2018

We begin tonight’s edition of A Window to the Fatherland with Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh reading one of his poems from the book of his collected works.

Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh:

We continue tonight’s program by reporting on the arrest of the civil rights activist Mohammad Nourizad, Mrs. Farida Moradkhani, the niece of ayatollah Khamenei and the prominent journalist Hassan Fathi, by the intelligence unit of the Revolutionary Guard.

We will also watch and listen to a video message from the human rights activist Ms. Hengameh Shahidi.

As journalists we are only “armed” with a pen to fight against the corrupt and despotic regime of the Islamic republic and in that respect we try to expose its crimes against our people.

In doing so, I must share this story with you. A few days ago a friend of mine rang and said that one of our mutual friends who lives in the Kurdistan of Iraq has gone missing and asked for my help.

I contacted Kak Abdullah Mohtadi and he confirmed that someone had been there and had caused some minor problems and I rang and spoke to Mr Massoud Barezani’s office who said that the person with your description is an agent of the Islamic regime and he been expelled from the area.

I have neither seen nor spoken to this person but this incident proves how desperate the regime has become to try to infiltrate in our struggle movement but I hereby announce that the united struggle of our people to end the four dark decades of the regime’s dictatorship over our nation will continue until we achieve this noble objective.

Today Khamenei has had a meeting with a group of university students in a staged show of “his Excellency’s democratic principles”. In such staged gatherings a few students are carefully picked by his security personnel and given certain questions before hand to ask Khamenei. And as always, the Rahbar first speaks to the students in a soft language depicting himself as an innocent and victimized man whose life is devoted to fighting colonialism and imperialism and that Iran is the freest country in the world, and all that nonsense from a dictator who has not been accountable to anyone for the 26 years of his despotic rule.

However, despite all the preparations by his stooges to see off another boring staged question and answer session between Khamenei and the students, a courageous young girl by the name of Sahar Mehrabi has cornered Khamenei by telling him that neither he nor anyone of his subordinates and the many organizations under his command feel accountable towards the nation.

And Khamenei’s expected answer: I do not have any control over anyone of them!! What a hypocrite!

In the second part of the program: Iran’s film stars snub Rouhani by refusing to attend his ceremonial Ramadan Iftar, cite the poor state of human rights and rise of poverty in the country.

Also, the commander of Iran’s air defence forces General Farzad Ismali has been replaced with Alireza Sabahifard and analysts put this change into the account of the regime’s inability to defend its forces in Syria against the Israeli air attacks.

And yet another scandal has rocked Iran as a head teacher has confessed to having sexually abused tens of schoolboys.

Stay with us for this edition of A Window to the Fatherland and share it with your family and friends.
