A Window to the Fatherland/Dr. Nourizadeh/March 26 We begin tonight’s edition of A Window to the Fatherland with Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh reading one of his poems from the book of his collected works.Dr Alireza Nourizadeh:We continue the program with reporting on the latest news of the devastating flooding in several major Iranian cities in which tens of people have perished and thousands more have fled their homes in fear of being swept away by the uncontrolled floods.Rouhani and his ministers and the Revolutionary Guard commander Jaffari have offered their lip service to the victims of the flood, but there is hardly anything that they can do practically simply because their incompetence and inaction have been the very cause of this disaster hitting our people in the first place.Jaffari has been talking to the local people in Golestan province about their grievances but listening to his comments he looks like a dumb person who has no idea what has really happened to millions of Iranians over the last few days. The curse of the regime’s corrupt and tyrannical rule has now expanded itself all across Iran as floods, mud slides and typhoons are hitting the Iranians up and down the country at the moment. Rouhani government’s incompetence is such that he does not even know which one of his cabinet is responsible for handling the current crisis. Our country urgently needs the views and planning of experts and environmentalists to handle this crisis but they have either been killed or imprisoned by the regime or forced to leave the country to live in exile. The country also lacks the necessary engineering and construction equipment because most of the 800 billion dollars of revenue that it has gained from the sale of oil during the previous decad has either been stolen by the regime’s top officials or squandered by supporting the Assad murderous regime or terrorist organisations. 2019-03-26 khalijefars Share !
