We begin tonight’s edition of A Window to the Fatherland with Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh reading one of his poems from the book of his collected works.
Dr Alireza Nourizadeh:
This regime must go. It is a system based on repression and corruption. Khamenei has now appointed a criminal responsible for executing thousands of our young people as the chief judge of his despotic regime.
His calculation in appointing Ebrahim Raeesi as the head of judiciary is that he will pave the way for his son Mujtaba to become the next supreme leader in return for becoming the chief judge.
But for a criminal like Raeesi who has massacred thousands of people it will be too easy to purge Khamenei’s son to sustain his own corrupt and criminal power.
The regime has now made a lot of noise about trying the people involved in the multi billion dollar corruption case in Iran’s petrochemical industries , while it fails to tell the Iranian people how it has squandered more than 18 billion dollars of their wealth in Syria to sustain the Assad regime and his killing fields of the Syrian people.

Once again some of the regime’s puppets have begun talking about abolishing the post of president and replacing him with a prime minister who is elected by the parliament.
This is all yet another plot by Khamenei who is upset to see that while he acts as a dictator, the Iranian people still have a say in electing a president who may not obey all his policies.
