We begin tonight’s edition of A Window to the Fatherland with Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh reading one of his poems from the book of his collected works.
Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh:
We continue the program with talking to our special guest of every Thursday Dr. Mohsen Sazegara tonight, as he was travelling last night.
But before that, a dear friend of us who is an officer in the Revolutionary Guard has written a private letter to us and said:
“One of my colleagues who works in the Saadbad Complex has told me that he cannot sleep at nights as he keeps dreaming about Hashemi Rafsanjani at the momentthat he was dying.
He says that Rafsanjani looked like he had been beaten and then drown in the swimming pool of the complex by two men by the names of Saeed and Morteza who are members of the security team at the Saadabad Complex where Rafsanjani used to use its swimming facility.
This friend says that the two security men had been instructed to immobilize Rafsanjani before he entered the pool as he was staggering before entering it.
But as Rafsanjani finished his usual lengths of swim the security men used the towel around his face and neck and strangled him while he was still in the water.
The source has told us that he has taken some photos of the incident and will send them to us soon”.
Dr. Mohsen Sazegara:
It appears that the man who has witnessed the murder scene has told this story. Of course it is a bit difficult to assume that the murderers would have remained indifferent to the presence of this witness.
However, once we put together the statements of members of the Rafsanjani family and the report of the National Security Council and the fact that the coroner has not been allowed to carry a post-mortem examination, then all the evidence points to a murder plot.
At the heart of killing Rafsanjani lies the question of Khamenei’s succession and now we hear that Khamenei has resorted to the Russians to get their support for his son Mujtaba to succeed him.
Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh:
Now the regime has created a “revolutionary symbol” for itself by the name of Ghasem Soleimani but the latest news is that this man has been involved a massive corruption case of receiving $50m of bribe to resale the members of the Qatari royal family who had been taken hostage by Iraqi terrorists aligned with the Iranian regime.
Dr. Mohsen Sazegara:
The Islamic republic regime, just like all dictatorial and ideological regimes in history, has promised to take the Iranian people to heaven, but has in fact created a hellish life for them.
This is now a regime that is not even able to provide water and electricity to many parts of the country and there is no doubt that it will fall apart. The main question however remains that how we should get rid of it with the least possible damages to our nation.
