We begin tonight’s edition of A Window to the Fatherland with Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh reading one of his poems from the book of his collected works.
Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh:
We continue the program with a look at behind the scene plan in organizing the last Saturday’s gathering of the Mujaheddin Khalq in Paris and expose their lies about the grandstanding their event. We will also show a few video clips of the protest demonstrations of the people of Khoramshahr and their clashes with the security forces.
Around 4000 people attended the Mujaheddin’s meeting who had been brought from many European countries in addition to their own supporters in France, which numbered around 1500 people.
Several American individuals including Mr. Giuliani had also been invited to speak at this gathering and each received $25,000 of fees plus the cost of stay in 5 star hotels in Paris.
It is a matter of regret that those who have more money have more access to foreign media to show off their programs.
However, this organization lacks the support that it claims to have inside Iran and deceitfully attributes the Khoramshahr uprising to itself.
We had a honourable conference in Washington last week and the representatives of all of Iran’s ethnic people attended it.
The youth of Ahwaz and Khoramshahr will not allow anyone to put their uprising in their own account. We are one nation under one flag of the Lion and the Sun.
In the second part of the program we will look at the Iranian central bank’s efforts to stop the decline of Rial as the U.S. war on the Iranian economy by sanctions gets underway.
Instead of blocking the illegal transactions, the introduction of a fixed exchange rate by the Rouhani government has encouraged some corrupt traders to profiteer by charging higher black market prices for goods they imported with dollars bought at the lower official rate.
In an attempt to defuse the latest opposition to his government’s management of the currency crisis, Hassan Rouhani ordered the publication of the names of merchants who took advantage of the central bank’s policy. On Sunday, the bank released a list of 1,500 companies and entities that together received hundreds of millions of euros at the bank’s fixed rate.
In the coming days we will expose the full names of these companies and people who have profited from this ill advised policy.
In the next part of the program we will talk about how Prince Reza Pahlavi has replied to Khamenei’s tweet as the leader of the Islamic republic regime has deceitfully once again blamed the Western countries and the US in particular for Iran’s economic woes.
Reza Pahlavi has reminded Khamenei that the Iranian people have long abandoned his regime and are looking forward to a new Iran beyond his despotic an corrupt regime.
