We begin tonight’s edition of A Window to the Fatherland with Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh reading one of his poems from the book of his collected works.
Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh:
Today is the anniversary of the birthday of legendary Iranian singer Farhad. He opened a new chapter in Iranian music with his voice and lyrics.
Today is also the anniversary of the passing of the singer Haydeh and Mehdi Bazargan, the nationalist-religious politician.
The regime has tortured the labour activist Ismail Bakhshi in prison and has now forced him to “admit” in confessions that he has not been tortured!!
Ms Gholian who has witnessed Bakhshi being tortured in prison has bravely spoken out and repeated that she has eye witnessed his trauma.
Today is also the anniversary of the fire at Plasco Building in which tens of firefighters and shopkeepers were perished.
This inception of this regime has been synonym with misery and pain for Iran and Iranians ever since.
Later in the program we will look at the plane crash of last week again as new evidence is emerging about the suspicious mission that it could have had.
A woman by the name of Zareinejad with Jewish background and fluent in speaking Hebrew has now been reported as being one of the victims of the air crash.
She has been at the service of the Quds brigade of the Revolutionary Guards which makes it even more a question as to what mission did the military crew of the plane could have had in the first place.
