We begin tonight’s edition of A Window to the Fatherland with Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh reading one of his poems from the book of his collected works.
Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh:
Hassan Rouhani has been talking about the “many progresses” that Iran has supposedly made over the last forty years under the regime of corruption, tyranny and backwardness that he represents.
Let’s just think for a moment that if this sinister regime and its corrupt leaders had not taken over Iran forty years ago and where would Iran be today in the world?
The answer is that we would have surely been ahead of Japan and South Korea. Khomeini wanted more population so he could send our youths to Syria and get them killed and as such ordered a sudden increase of the population without thinking about its social and economic consequence.
Iranian people laugh at Rouhani’s claims about the progress of their country under this regime when one of the members of its useless parliament spends 500 milliontomans to entertain a corrupt minister for lunch, while the salary of a hardworking teacher and her family is one million toman and the official poverty line stands at 3 million toman!
Iran has been ruled by a gang of 1400 people who are all part of a family in one way or the other and have been stealing the wealth of the nation since they came to power forty years ago.
A look at the ownership and management names of Iran’s main industries and government departments will tell us how this family of corrupt and vile people have literally confiscated Iran and its wealth.
And as they regime officials prepare themselves to celebrate the fortieth anniversary of their calamitous rule over Iran, the human rights lawyer Nargess Mohammadi and Nazanin Zagheri are languishing in prison and started a hunger strike. So much for a revolution that was in the name of freedom and human rights!
