We begin tonight’s edition of A Window to the Fatherland with Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh reading one of his poems from the book of his collected works.
Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh:
In tonight’s program from the City of Angels we speak to historian Mr Nasser Shahinpar by asking him what does he think about the reaction of the public to his programs on IraneFarda TV?
Nasser Shahinpar:
I am very pleased and proud that my compatriots are interested in my history programs and contact me in there thousands to encourage me do my national duties.
I do not have a good memory with remembering names as sometime give wrong names but still people follow my programs.
I can tell that we have never had any period inIran’s long history to resemble the current situation.
Our kings have been wine drinkers and in love with music and dancing, the issues banned in Islam. Yet they have always pretended to be “good Muslims” by appearing next to religious leaders because they have feared their influences on the masses.
However, some Kings like Shah Abbas have used this hypocrisy to advance their good will for the country and people like Shah Sultan Hossein have been duped by the mullahs and surrendered the country to them and the enemy.
