We begin tonight’s edition of A Window to the Fatherland with Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh reading one of his poems from the book of his collected works.
Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh:
We continue the program with looking at the impeachment of Massoud Karbasian, Iran’s Minister of Economy and Treasury and how the regime’s politicians and MPs have descended into the lowest of the low by trading lewd words and insulting each other publicly just to blame one another for the current socio-economic crisis that has engulfed the country.
In that respect we will watch a video clip of aspeech by MP Elias Hazrati whose manners are nothing short of a hoodlum and thug.
It is only too fitting that they behave like this as they are mainly from among the lowest and most uneducated classes that have crept into power through murder and repression and are now unlawfully and undeservedly occupying the positions that must be in the hands of Iranian patriots and experts who care about the nation’s wellbeing rather than their own pockets.
Karbasian’s impeachment will solve nothing. If the impeachment of a regime official solves anything, then all of its leaders and officials must be impeached by the nation and removed from power so that Iran can be freed and become prosperous.
For example, the son of ayatollah Shahroudi who has amassed millions of dollars through corruption is exempted from any investigation by the judiciary because the corrupt head of the judiciary, Amoli Larijani, has argued that Shahroudi is an old man and is dying of cancer so it would be “unfair” to bother him by “troubling” his son!!
In the second part of the program we will repot on the ongoing general strike by the people of the city of Marivan following the tragic death of four rangers in the fire of Marivan forests.
Once again Javad Zarif has lied about the regime’s foreign policy by claiming that Iran has won its diplomatic war with the US in the Middle East region.
Who is he trying to kid? Could Zarif just name one Middle Eastern country that has full and normal diplomatic relations with the regime that he serves?
It was so sad to hear the crash of Iran’s F-5 fighter jet in which the veteran pilot Manouchehr Fatahi has been killed.
Prince Reza Pahlavi has sent a personal message of condolence to his family. His death has come as a shocking news to his colleagues and many Iranians who knew him.
Sadly the province of Kermanshah has once gain been hit by an earthquake which has left several people dead.
And Nazanin Zagheri-Ratclif’s sad saga continues as she has been taken back into prison cell after a lull of three days of furlough.
And at the end of tonight’s program we will look at the regime’s complaint to the International Court of Justice against the US imposition of new sanctions on Iran.
