We begin tonight’s edition of A Window to the Fatherland with Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh reading one of his poems from the book of his collected works.
Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh:
We continue the program with looking at the reactions of the regime’s leaders to the US decision to end the exemptions to the seven countries that buy Iran’s oil.
Javad Zarif has said that given that Iran can only export 200,000 barrels of oil per day, the government cannot even pay the salaries of its civil servants and that it will not be able to help the victims of the recent flood disaster.
We ask Mr Zarif and the regime that he is part of, that why do they still follow the devastating domestic and foreign policies that are the reasons for thisunbearable situation for our nation?
The corruption among the regime’s top officials is another major reason for the dire state of Iran’s economy and our people’s suffering.
Now the defendants in the corruption case of Petrochimi have claimed that the 500 million Euros that they have stolen has been in accordance with “following the Sharia and the supreme leader’s wish”!!
We tell them: damn you thieves and your deception!
The new commander of the Revolutionary Guard, Hossein Salami, can claim that hewill order the closure of the Strait of Hormuz in the Persian Gulf. But he is only using rhetoric here as he knows this will never happen.
He is threatening to mine the waterway but ignores the fact the US and other Western naval forces stationed in the Persian Gulf and the countries around it can sweep the mines in 15 minutes and react in full force against Iran’s naval forces who will fall victims of his ignorance.
For many years the regime has been showing off its missile capabilities, but what can they do in the waters of our own territory if god forbid a military confrontation with the US forces take place in there.
The lack of any economic or military strategy among its leadership is the hallmark of this regime which have turned our country into a disaster zone.
