A Window to the Fatherland/Dr. Nourizadeh/June 21

We begin tonight’s edition of A Window to the Fatherland with Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh reading one of his poems from the book of his collected works.

Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh:

Yesterday Iran’s Revolutionary Guard said it had shot down an “intruding American spy drone” after it entered into the country’s territory.

A US official has confirmed a drone had been shot down, but said the incident occurred in international airspace over the Strait if Hormuz, one of the world’s most vital shipping routes.

The Guards commander Salami has claimed that the US militarydrone had invaded Iran’s national sovereignty!

We remind him that Iran’s true national sovereignty has been invaded by the likes of him and his corrupt and thief cronies for the last forty years and they must stop their dangerous rhetoric before too late as the US is preparing the ground to at least respond with a limited military attack on Iran if the Guards continue with their adventurist policies.

My fear is that there will come a day when the commanders of the Guards have taken our country into an unwanted war but they themselves havefled the country.

The Guards commanders like Mohsen Rezaie is now the exclusive owner of Javansir travel service with 2000 luxury coaches working for his business empire and still claims to be a revolutionary!!

In tonight’s program we talk to our special guest Dr. Sadigh Yazdchi about the hypocrisy of the regime’s officials.

Dr. Sadigh Yazdchi:

Sadly the tension between the US and our country has increased badly and these kinds of antagonism have existed in the past history of ourcountry and one must find a sensible resolution to them but sometimes the factors are so widespread that one fails to find this solution.

However, the fact of the matter is that the current regime in Iran is an odd and baseless one that has no relation to humanity and the moral values of life.

It claims that it has roots in Islamic religion but the original Islam has gone through many centuries of changes in its values and outlook and even some of these values have entered it from other religions.

As such, the regime cannot claim to be an original version of our religion and the confusion that we see among our nation is based on thefact that our people have now decided to build their future on rationality and values that protect humanity and human rights while they can always freely hold to any religious belief that they may have.
