A Window to the Fatherland/Dr. Nourizadeh/April 2

We begin tonight’s edition of A Window to the Fatherland with Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh reading one of his poems from the book of his collected works.

Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh:

Today is Sizdehbedar, when Iranians traditionally spend the day out picnicking and connect to nature and appreciate its beauty.

However, with the arrival of Khomeini and his regime all our centuries old traditions have come under onslaught. The first thing he said after his return to Iran was that we should not celebrate our new year, the Nowruz. He had never understood the meaning of love and beauty.

He and his successor have paid for building luxury apartments for their Lebanese followers but disabled Iranians cannot even afford a proper room to live in. We are dealing with a regime whose behaviour is just contrary to all human norms.

Now the regime’s intelligence minister Mahmood Alavi has said that when Khomeini came to Iran the nation followed all his orders and wishes without questioning them.

This is a very correct statement because the nation could not have imagined that a then respected religious leader and “man of god” could ever lie, torture and kill and wage wars!!

Or, in the city Shiraz that has now been hit with the disastrous flood, an ayatollah by the name of Haeri would have raped virgin girls before sendingthem to the firing squad.

The list of the crimes of this regime is never ending.

It has now been reported that the US government has announced that they will be imposing further sanctions on Iran.

According to Brian Hook, U.S. special representative for Iran, three of eight importers granted waivers by Washington to buy oil from Iran have now cut their shipments to zero.

This means in the weeks to come the dire economic condition of our people will get even worse.

It is now up to the Iranian people to rise up and end this miserable life for themselves by removing this regime from power and once again show to the world that we are an ancient and freedom-loving nation, before all the calamities that the regime has brought onto us ends the life of our country.
