We begin tonight’s edition of A Window to the Fatherland with Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh reading one of his poems from the book of his collected works.
Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh:
In tonight’s program we speak to our dear guest Dr. Hossein Bor and ask him about his views on the last week’s deadly attack on the coach carrying the members of the Revolutionary Guards.
We begin by asking why on the eve of the Warsaw Conference in which the Iranian regime is introduced as the main sponsor ofterrorism in the world its foreign minster claims that the regime itself is the biggest victim of terrorism.
Dr. Hossein Bor:
The story you just told is true and I take it that you still remember that once there was an explosion in the regime’s Majles and they blamed many opposition groups but at the end it became clear that the regime itself was behind it.
The same happened in Ahwaz when Rouhani was about to visit the city an explosion happened there. The regime needs these staged incidents to plead innocent.
We do not yet know why this bus full of the guardsmen was coming from Isfahan to Zahedan at that late time. They say a van had rammedinto it with explosives but in the pictures that we have seen about the incident there is no trace of any other vehicle on the scene.
I have talked to a number of people in Zahedan who said that several other vehicles belonging to the Guards had already been in thearea prior to the incident.
The regime says they have raided a home in the area and discovered 750 kilos of explosives. How could any one have hidden this large amount of explosives without being noticed in a city that is watched by thesecurity forces round the clock.
The regime has also repeated its baseless accusationsabout the Baluch people of the province that we are separatist but has sold out our country’s independence by giving away the resources of the province to the Chinese and the Russians.
