We begin tonight’s edition of A Window to the Fatherland with Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh reading one of his poems from the book of his collected works.
Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh:
We are only two days away from the start of the New Year 2019. Over the last few days we have been celebrating the birthdays ofJesus and the Iranian prophet Mitra.
We have also had prophet Zartosht (Zarostra) in our history and celebrate his birth and his message of peace and love for humans, which are in the three mottos of “think good, do good and say good”.
This reminds us of the story of the ZoroastrianSepanta Niknam who became a councilor member of Yazd City’s Municipality but the reactionary mullah Jannati had rejected his membership on religious grounds.
The Iranian mathematician and philosopher Zakaria Razi who was so knowledgeable about Iran and Islam had once said that the mullahs like Jannati are hypocrites and only follow their own vile ideas.
Faeze Rafsanjani has been talking about how theIranian regime has lost all its legitimacy and she seems to be the only member of the Rafsanjani family who still dares tell the truth about the real state of the regime in face of the numerous problems that our nation has.
I was asked by Al Arabia TV cannel last night as to why despite all these problems our people do not rise up to overthrow the regime.
My answer was that they need to have an alternative to replace the regime first. We have Prince Reza Pahlavi as the most qualified figurehead for such a transition inside and outside the country.
He has been consistent in his struggle against the regime and his plans for rebuilding Iran.
We naturally have other opposition groups and figures but none seem to match his popularity.
