A Window to the Fatherland/Dr. Nourizadeh/June 22

We begin tonight’s edition of A Window to the Fatherland with Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh reading one of his poems from the book of his collected works.

Dr. Alireza Nourizadeh:

Our country, Iran, is at an historical juncture and is going through very critical period in its history.

When you have the populations of more than one hundred cities of your country either on strike or on the streets calling for change, then you are talking about a very unique country on the verge of a national explosion.

However, the regime that rules our country is fractured and divided between tens of decision making centers, all of which share one common characteristic which is they are all lying to the Iranian people day and night, and just want to look after their own corrupt interest groups.

So much so that a member of the Majles by the name of Mazeni has said he cannot expose any corruption in the parliament, because he fears his life will be threatened by the Revolutionary Guards. And this is a man who receives the highest salary in land and has his own private driver and security in the country. One can then imagine how an ordinary Iranian feels about the regime’s dictatorial repressions.

We continue the program with a report on the state of the victims of last year’s earthquake in western Iran, whose appalling conditions after months remain unchanged, while the regime spends billions of dollars on rebuilding homes for the Palestinian and Lebanese.

Now, the regime has even corrupted our national football team by claiming that any win in the World Cup is because of Islam, but any loss will be put into the account of Iran!

Later in the program we will have a report from our colleague Shahin Samadpour about Iran’s deep social problems.

In this report we can see how this regime’s mission from the beginning has been the destruction of Iran, exactly what it is doing with the Houthis in Yemen today.

All this regime is interested in is to run a few TV channels and spread its vile ideology among the Muslims and causes death and destruction in the Middle East and beyond.

At the end of the program we will review the case of the mass raping of young girls in Baluchestan province, which has caused a cultural shock in this traditionally religious region.
